Remember those days when you had to trek across town for a specialist appointment, then drive back another day for a follow-up with a different doctor? Ugh, what a hassle! Well, those days are over, thanks to the amazing new Aline Chretien Health Hub right in Orleans.
Tied to the Montfort Hospital, the Aline Chretien health Centre is a game-changer. It’s like they took all the different healthcare providers you could possibly need and put them all under one roof. Seriously, it’s like a one-stop shop for all your health needs. But here’s the best part: it’s not just about convenience. This centre is setting a new standard for healthcare, a model that other communities will hopefully follow. It’s all about integrated care, which means everyone – doctors, nurses, specialists – they’re all working together to give you the best possible care. Think about it: you can get your blood tests done, get an x-ray, even have a mammogram or ultrasound – all in one place! They’ve got an Ontario Medical Supply store right there too, which is super handy. And if you need a little extra support, they even offer youth and family counselling.
But wait, there’s more! The Aline Chretien Health Centre is packed with specialized clinics, covering everything from joint assessments to allergies to diabetes. They’ve got you covered for rehabilitation too, with services like speech pathology and physiotherapy. And for our seniors, they offer a range of services, from adult day care to foot care. Seriously, this place has it all. If you want to see the full list of services they offer, check out their website: https://

I have been looked after by the Paramed personnel since early March 2026 due to a large cut on my leg, these people were fantastic taking good care, friendly and in good humour, I was trying to find a way to pass my comments to their Supervisor but could not find where?
You also have the people greeting visitors in front, good and friendly people that also need a bow.
Lastly, Melissa, at Physio who is caring for my broken ankle deserves a bow also for her good care, smile and good spirit.
The Medical Centre is Superb! We need more of these in Ottawa. Congratulations to the people working there and caring for all the patients.

Thank you for sharing this Richard! We tend to hear only negatives these days so it is refreshing to hear a positive! Thank you!
